Injured Warne sheds bandage

Injured former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne's chances of being fit to play Melbourne Stars' Twenty20 Big Bash League opener on Saturday have improved after he saw his surgeon this morning and had his bandage removed.
Warne also attended an intra-club trial game and bowled for about 10 minutes to Adam Voges during the innings break, a Stars spokesperson said.
The 42-year-old, who will come out of retirement to play for the Stars, was nursing burns to his right hand.
He had earlier posted a photo on Twitter of his hand, showing large blisters on three of his fingers with his little finger the worst affected.
Warne had earlier retired from all forms of cricket in May following the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Melbourne Stars will play Sydney Thunder at the MCG as part of the opening weekend of the Twenty20 Big Bash League.
