Ahmedabad, Dec 6 (IANS) Karnataka pacer Abhimanyu Mithun has replaced injured Praveen Kumar, who is down with a fractured rib, in the 17-member Australia-bound Test squad for the four-match series starting Dec 26, the Indian cricket board announced here Monday.
Mithun, who has played four Tests, along with Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron will form India's pace attack. Pace spearhead Zaheer Khan has been selected provisionally and will have to prove his fitness before the squad's departure.
